Tuesday January 6, 2009 Longtime El Paso talk radio host Paul Strelzin announced on the air Monday that his afternoon program on KHRO 1150 (AM) is ending - "Unfortunately, we don't have the luxury of continuing his employment because corporate mandated budget cuts," said David Candelaria, Entravision's general manager (read more - Ramón Rentería - El Paso Times) The smooth, friendly and rich sound of host Al Malmberg's voice on WCCO Radio has been silenced before he ever got a chance to say goodbye to his listeners of 12 years.
